SalaryOur client is seeking to hire a Helpdesk Analyst to work onsite in Mebane, NC. The role’s primary focus is on supporting SAP users in the United States and delivering EDI changes in the SAP functional areas of sales, logistics, and purchasing. Duties include giving onsite and remote training; supporting SAP users in the United States; delivering EDI changes to customers assisting SAP users at the client facilities outside the United States; configuring standard changes; and setting up users and authorizations in SAP.
Domestic and international travel up to 20% is required.
- Provide operational support to SAP users who work in sales, logistics, and purchasing
- Configure standard master data in the SAP system
- Make improvements to reduce the number of incidents
- Test EDI setups with third-party logistics partners
- Set up and deliver EDI changes to customers
- Assign authorizations to end users and support the set-up of authorizations in projects
- Serve as an account manager for important SAP users in the United States
- Guide users in making the best use of SAP functionality and industry best practices
- Assist users with getting the best IT and systems support.
- Coach the business representatives to become self-supportive.
- Document changes and develop professional training documentation, bring the organization to a higher level of SAP knowledge, and reduce support work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or business, or in a related field of study
- At least two years of experience in a corporate helpdesk or support setting
- Basic knowledge of the Sales and Distribution module of SAP
- Demonstrated ability to perform functional and technical setup of SAP.
- Prior experience as a key user of SAP in sales and distribution is a big plus.

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
