THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION AT THE TEAMHEALTH NATIONAL PATIENT SERVICE CENTER IN KNOXVILLE, TN.
JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
The position primarily provides support to NPSC Representatives. Representatives accept inbound calls to assist in resolving patient billing issues in a positive, professional and confidential manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support patients and NPSC Representatives requests.
- Answer and document all telephone inquiries.
- Possess knowledge of Team Health billing center requirements.
- Answer calls from all queues and lines, including Anesthesia.
- Research and respond to Help Desk inquires.
- Assist Call Quality Assurance Coordinators as needed.
- Adhere to all NPSC and Team Health policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent and concise communication to patients and NPSC Representatives in a professional manner.
- Performs other duties and assignments as requested.
