Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM -5PM business hours in time zone - Candidate must commit to attend all required training and conference calls assigned for the project.
Remote anywhere in the US and can work hours in their time zone.
Candidate must return all equipment that is supplied to them in good working condition and in a timely manner at the end of the project
May require travel to physician offices please make sure that candidates have reliable transportation. - COVID VACCINE REQUIRED!
Summary about the Job/ Layman’s Terms:
Participates in the review of medical records to abstract clinical information for HEDIS reporting. May require travel to physician offices; Nursing license preferred but not required. Successful HEDIS review experience may be substituted for licensure
Minimum Education/Licensures/Qualifications
- RN/LVN with an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Successful HEDIS review experience may be substituted for licensure
- 1-3 years of HEDIS reviewer experience- Not a HEDIS nurse
- 1-3 years of experience auditing and abstracting medical records required
- Medical knowledge/terminology is required
- Ability to read and interpret medical records
- Computer savvy: Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe reader required. Know how to save a file to a folder.
