Job Description
Summary: Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform field level automotive maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery, with a focus on material handling equipment.
Requirements:
Experience in field level maintenance on US military automotive equipment.
Ability to interpret and apply technical instruction, schematics, and diagrams.
Possesses personal tools that meet the required tool list.
Valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Previous expertise with military equipment.
EPA certification in Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Program compliant with section 609 of the Clean Air Act.
Responsibilities:
Perform field level automotive maintenance on all equipment assigned or work-loaded to the assigned shop, primarily material handling equipment including military and commercial forklifts, cranes, bull dozers, tractors, earth movers, and mine sweepers.
Conduct Technical Inspection, diagnostics, parts identification and requisitioning in accordance with technical specifications and specified repair times.
Carry out A/C repair and service on a wide range of automotive and material handling equipment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour
