- Pick up and deliver rotating equipment and parts to/from customer and vendor sites
- Communicate effectively with the Logistics Manager, along with shipping/receiving, sales and service teams informing/updating them regularly to guarantee that customer objectives are met.
- Receive replenishment orders and stock the warehouse
- Pick various orders as directed by the pick tickets
- Load LTL and truckload shipments as needed
- Assist in coordinating daily deliveries and pick-ups
- Remain flexible to restructure schedule as needed
- Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Carry out pre-shift checks of equipment
- Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets during random audits
- Verify the quantity of the products
- Ensure items are picked accurately and safely to prevent injury or damage
- Responsible for variation of all outgoing and incoming products for accuracy in terms of size, amount, and type
- Keep work area tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers and broken pallets
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class B CDL driver’s license required at minimum, Class A CDL preferred, with a clean motor vehicle record
- Able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiners Certificate from a DOT certified medical examiner
- Forklift experience preferred
- Familiar with the surrounding area and be able to read a map/guide
- Requires knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
