SalaryMAX Logistics, has immediate openings for a Heavy Equipment Operators/Laborer at our Palmerton, PA location.
Position Summary
- Should have experience operating equipment such as high capacity fork-lifts, mini-excavators, yard tractors, etc.
- Working at a facility to support railroad operations involving intermodal container and railcar movement and inspections.
- Must be attentive and maintain awareness of surroundings while maneuvering all company equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures including safety procedures.
- As required, wear personal protective equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of general hand and power tools preferred.
- Ability to work in all types of weather.
- Standard days are Monday – Friday with potential for overtime
- No Travel required
Eligibility Qualifications
- 2-5 years prior experience in container handling and/or rail operations.
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, respirator physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
- 40-hour Hazwoper, OSHA 10 or 30, and CPR/First Aid training strongly preferred, or Company will provide paid OSHA training to successful candidate(s).
