Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of Heavy Equipment to assist with construction projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties
- Operate and maintain Heavy Equipment such as backhoes,loaders, graders, skid steers and excavators
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols

Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in operating backhoes,loaders, graders, skid steers and excavators
- Experience with horizontal drilling is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications a plus
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Must be able to pass an onsite skills test prior to hiring. Must also take pre-employment physical and drug testing.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
