The Build (Responsibilities)
Set-up and operate Heat Treat equipment and verify quality:
o Heat-treat robots
o Furnaces
o Induction
o Grit blasters
o Hardness testers
Read and understand instructions and maintain documentation:
o Shop order routings
o HT recipe cards
o Record process
Basic computer skills:
o Maintain robot adjustments
o Generate HT recipe cards for incoming orders
Physical requirements:
o Able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
o Work in high temperature environment
o Wear proper PPE (hard hats with face shields etc.)
Clean and de-sludge high heat open bath furnaces
