Position Summary:
Level Two: Level Two: Working with minimal assistance level two Heat Treat Operators perform intermediate Heat Treat tasks such as pull and verifying DPS/AMS docs, perform equipment set up including furnace burn out, leak test, OPM, loading required recipe, and perform basic equipment maintenance. Which includes inspecting thermocouples, verifying certs, and producing required graphs for quality, demonstrating intermediate knowledge of materials and Heat Treat processes. Certification required. Typically 2-3 Years of Experience
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Correctly access and interpret documentation (H-Specs, etc.)
- Lift up to 45lbs (Repetitive)
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Perform intermediate racking and loading of product (Furnaces)
- Meet area/product specific production standards
- Complete process and operation documentation (Traceability, etc.)
- Perform basic PM tasks (Filters, etc.)
- Review furnace charts (Audit other operator’s charts)
- Operate hoist
- Adjust furnace controller patterns (Per H-Spec)
- Adjust furnace atmosphere controls
- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals
- The ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers
- Intermediate knowledge of Heat Treat process
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills
- The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
Experience & Education
- Typically 2-3 Years
- Internal Assesments/Certifications
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

Pay: $21.00 - $31.50 per hour
