Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that meet program guidelines including:
~ Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
~ At least 3 years experience in marketing/sales or advertising, preferably in a medical or hospital environment
~ Sales experience (preferably medical or hospital environment)
~ Ability to pass background check & any program mandated health screening
~ Proof of valid automobile insurance
~ Possession of or ability to obtain a valid CA Drivers License
Key Responsibilities:
~ Serving as a "Community Liaison " and being responsible for developing and implementing a strategic community education plan.
~Conducts educational research to determine the need of new services & provides administration with summaries and recommendations pertaining to these evaluations
~ Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with community professionals to generate referrals & accompany to community events
~ Distributes information and makes referrals to responsible parties within the company.
~ Participates in local healthcare and nonprofit functions
~ Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of company
~ Makes 1:1 contacts with community professionals
~ Assists in establishing organization volume projections and the annual budget.

~ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse community members & effectively present information
~ Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to cultural diversity and an understanding of how cultural factors may impact community dynamics and interactions
~Networking: Strong networking abilities to connect with community leaders, organizations and resources
~Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local community, its demographics and the social and economic challenges it faces
