Healthcare Transactional Attorney

We are a dynamic full service legal firm seeking a specialty attorney to join us at our North Shore Long Island headquarters. Established over 20 years ago, we've grown to 100+ attorneys.

An ideal candidate will be personable, able to build rapport with clients and prospective clients while working collaboratively with senior management and colleagues across departments. As a key member of our Healthcare Team they should be confident in their subject matter expertise as demonstrated by keen ability to interpret rulings related to transactional, regulatory, clinical, finance, tax, and operational matters as well as clinical, litigation, and enforcement areas with the goal of offering legally compliant services that are advantageous to client needs.

Cases may encompass (though will not be limited to) the following:

•Audit, Inspection, and Investigation Defense

•Enforcement Defense

•Healthcare Fraud and Abuse

•Anti-Kickback Statute Violations

•Medicare, Medicaid false billing

•Protection of patients' health information

•Reimbursement and Licensing Issues

Healthcare provider clients will include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, long-term care and assisted living facilities, diagnostic and treatment centers, imaging centers, home health care agencies, and physician group practices. This client focus extends beyond patient healthcare providers as our practice may also offer legal services such as risk management and representation in audits, inspections, and investigations to pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers,

Minimum Requirements

•Juris Doctor degree
•New York State bar membership.
•Extensive knowledge of healthcare law and solid healthcare law experience
