The Recruiter recruits, screens, interviews and recommends placement of candidates for Nursing and/or Allied Health positions. Develops and implements recruitment strategies to successfully attract a high-quality workforce. Partners with hiring leaders to determine strategies for acquiring needed talent and assists with complex hiring situations. Cultivates strong professional networks and maintains a strong knowledge of the current job market.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies in collaboration with hiring managers. Assesses and analyzes the local competitive market for designated positions and identifies recruitment trends and market changes. Creates and maintains an active flow of qualified candidates by utilizing and participating in a broad range of sourcing activities including, but not limited to, social media, job fairs, internet and other database mining, professional association websites, job boards, job fairs, cold calling, and employee referrals.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance and maximize the effectiveness of Talent Acquisition systems and processes. Contributes expertise to projects and may lead, implement, and evaluate portions of such projects as necessary. Creates scheduled and ad hoc reports on recruitment activity.
- Screens applicants, including conducting telephone screening of applicants as necessary. Confirms that qualified applicants meet minimum licensure, certification, education, and experience requirements. Presents qualified applicants to the hiring manager. Uses all technology available to screen, communicate, disposition, and assess all applicants going through the full-cycle talent acquisition process.
- Assists both hiring managers and applicants in navigating the hiring process and collaborates with hiring manager on selection process and decision. Corresponds with job applicants regarding their application status. Provides guidance to applicants and clients throughout all stages of the Talent Acquisition process. Dispositions in the Applicant Tracking System and notifies all applicants of their final status.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent recruitment experience preferred.
Minimum Experience: One (1) year of recruitment experience required. Ability to establish credibility, trust and influence with leaders. Ability to multitask and maintain a work pace appropriate to workload. Maintains effective communication and working relationships with all levels of the organization. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy and proficiency. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Healthcare Experience preferred.
Req. Certification/Licensure: PHR or SPHR preferred.
