Our Talent Acquisition personnel are entrusted with ensuring we recruit for Clinical and Non-Clinical staff that share our passion for caring for the elderly in a way that promotes their dignity by being respectful of them as valued individuals.
The Healthcare Recruiter, based out of our Center in Utica, will share that same passion while maintaining an ownership mindset, feeling empowered to make decisions that lead to positive business and clinical outcomes. This position will work roughly 70% of the time at the facility and 30% of the time out in the community, recruiting for both clinical and non-clinical team members e.g. RN's, LPN's, Certified Nursing Assistants, Therapists (PT/OT/ST), Coordinators, and more.
You will establish, grow and maintain relationships with various community partners including schools (Nursing, Vocational, High School), large retail stores, etc. Our corporate senior-level TA Leaders will assist you in meeting and exceeding your recruiting goals, provide regular coaching and mentorship, and help you express your talents and strengths to the fullest extent. Aside from 1 possible home office day per week, this position will work out of The Pines at Utica with the remainder of time spent working, out in the surrounding communities.
What You Will Do:
- SOURCING: Creating, building, nurturing and maintaining a network of qualified candidates throughout the region.
- RECRUITING & PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Identifying, evaluating, presenting and managing potential candidates. Advising, guiding, and providing recommendations to hiring manager and stakeholders. Assisting facility Administrator and other internal hiring managers in areas related to selection, interviewing, ATS usage, and best practices to create an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through offer/acceptance, first 90 days on the job, and beyond. Serve as the facilities resident expert regarding candidate delivery strategies, and creative recruitment solutions including external site marketing partnerships, and pipeline development.
- COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDER CONNECTIONS - RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: build deep and lasting ties with area colleges, vocational, and high schools to promote healthcare careers within our facilities.
Requirements
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in healthcare recruiting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- 2 years of experience in Healthcare Provider-Side Recruitment i.e. Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing, Home Health, Acute Care or other healthcare provider organization required
- Proven track record of developing successful community-based relationships
- Proficiency with ADP-RM &/or ICIMS preferred
