QOROS Cardiovascular is seeking an experienced Healthcare Office Business Manager to lead a well-established Cardiology group with 2 offices located less than 30 - minutes apart.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (JOB-SPECIFIC METRICS):
Office profitability (revenue and expense), employee engagement and retention, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, office-based quality metrics, office-based efficiency metrics (wait times, staffing, etc.).
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Organize daily office operations and procedures including planning, reviewing and maintaining office schedules
- Assume fiscal responsible for P&L, co-pay collection, batch reconciliation, petty cash, precertification processes and overtime management
- Communicate information to physicians, staff and operational leadership
- Collaborate with Clinical Support staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided
- Address patient complaints to full resolution
- Maximize office productivity through proficient use of time
- Maximize FTE utilization
- Monitor work processes and evaluates outcomes
- Resolve employee and physician complaints; consulting with Regional Operations Director as necessary
- Network with referring and primary care physicians, insurance carriers and nurse case managers while working closely with Marketing and the Business Office
- Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings
- Attend and participate in Manager meetings as required
- Oversee onboarding of new staff members (provider and non-provider) ensuring that all credentialing requirements are met and required training is completed in a timely manner
- Participate in the interview process of new hires and termination of staff. Train, and assess all staff. Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Maintain personnel records on all staff including vacation and sick leave, review and disciplinary documentation in conjunction with Operations, Human Resources and Payroll departments. Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures
- Oversee medical supply inventories and reordering stock when necessary following the guidelines of the Accounting and Inventory Supply Manager
- Ensure all accounting documentation (invoices, receipts, purchase orders) are handled in a timely manner
- Manage payroll and monitor staffing hours and schedules
- Contribute to short and long term organizational planning as a member of the management team
- Resolve problems in administrative areas and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Serve as a liaison between clinic and internal as well as external agencies
- Manage and maintain office space. Troubleshoot and maintain office equipment
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum "3" years medical practice leadership experience in a high - volume healthcare practice setting with multi - offices and multi - providers
- Cardiology experience preferred, not required
- eClinicalWorks experience preferred, not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
