We are looking for a talented Healthcare Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to the transformation of healthcare design.

This position will be an integral part of our team, working closely with healthcare professionals, architects, engineers, and other design experts to create functional, beautiful, and patient-centered spaces. This position may work our of either our St. Paul (MN) or Phoenix (AZ) offices.

As an Interior Designer at EAPC, you will:

  • Evaluate, select, and apply design and technical solutions, with responsibility for project assignments including programming, design development, production and coordination through construction documents.
  • Understand the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts with ability to lead and develop design element components.
  • Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches; respond to and execute red-lines from both architectural and interior design peer reviews.
  • Support programming and space planning analysis and area calculations.
  • Work independently and alongside team to meet project constraints of budget and schedule.
  • Develop, prepare, and coordinate presentation materials. Lead presentations with clients when requested.
  • Be involved with coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments.
  • Collaborate with architectural and interior design staff.

To join us, you should have:

  • A professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience, 5+ years in healthcare preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, graphic design, and 3D modeling and visualization software.
  • Experience in all phases of a project including programming, schematic design, design development, and contract documents.
  • Demonstrated competency in interior design specifications, calculations, industry standards, and application of building codes and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating with mechanical and electrical systems, lighting, and acoustics.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation or storytelling skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations.
  • Interest and proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • NCIDQ, CHID or equivalent additional Certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

This position will report directly to the Healthcare Director and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, designers, and BIM Modelers.
