MU Healthcare is looking for a Healthcare Building Trades Apprentice Pipefitter ( Repairs, maintains, and replaces plumbing and pipe related items of Commercial, Industrial, Hospital, and Office Buildings). This candidate will work along with skilled trades/journey-leveled workers to provide assistance to trade services and provide an opportunity to expose entry-level personnel to the inner workings of healthcare facilities maintenance support. Trainees will be assigned to learn Building Trades or facility improvement skills. Building Trades are defined as: Electrical, Mechanical - (HVAC, Plumbing); Facility Improvement - (Painter, Carpenter, Floor Covering, and Plasterer) and Maintenance Mechanics.
Location: Columbia, Missouri
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Salary Range: $15.50 starting (Full Salary or hourly range required)

Essential Functions:
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training.
- Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
