Job Summary
- The Health Unit Coordinator is accountable for providing clerical support services to direct care personnel under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
- Technical degree preferred.
- Previous Heath Unit Coordinator or Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Work Schedule
- PRN - as needed
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
