Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Principal Investigator, in conjunction with the Coordinator, or Data Manager, assists with developing, maintaining, and optimizing a data warehouse and databases for health services research and health policy analysis. Performs design and construction, data verification, and documentation. Partners with stakeholders for policy and health services evaluations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a health science, biostatistics, computer science, or a related field required.
  • Master's Degree in biostatistics, or computer science preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience in data programming required.
  • Experience with SAS required. Experience in data programming in healthcare research preferred.
  • At least three (3) years in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • At least three (3) years in a research environment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues with different levels of technical and scientific knowledge.
  • Desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
