This is a remote/Hybrid position. You MUST live within commuting distance to any of the Sentara Health facilities in Virginia-
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital
Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital
Sentara Rockingham Memorial hospital
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center
Sentara Obici Hospital
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center
Hours- 8am-4:40pm- Full Time 40 hours per week
Training will be done on site and once training is complete you will be able to work a hybrid schedule.
As a Health Record and Information Tech you will compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system.
Associates Degree in Health Info Technology(or related Healthcare field) OR 2 years Medical Office OR 2yrs Medical Records Data OR 2 years Health Information Services experience required. Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to meet process document standards as set. Should have developed ability to focus on detailed processes & validate accuracy of others.
