Job Summary:
Under general direction, will manage and support the workforce initiatives for the Arizona Primary Care Office. This position would
support the data evaluation and collection of Primary Care Areas and Health Professional Shortage Areas. It would also support
multiple state-wide initiatives to increase recruitment and retention of health care professionals as well as federal programs in health
workforce. The position is responsible for conducting marketing activities; managing/monitoring contracts; overseeing loan repayment
disbursements; managing database and spreadsheets; assisting with site qualifications and development; developing/revising program
materials and web contents; developing standard work and manuals; interpreting rules and statutes; providing technical assistance
statewide; and following established program guidelines and protocol per state and federal requirements. The position will have
administrative responsibilities in ensuring appropriate and complete documentation of requirements and deliverables are met including
documentation of contract and contract amendments, compliance issues and resolution, service/encounter reports, and other pertinent
documentation. This position is required to perform work at/attend meetings at alternate locations and/or travel when necessary.
This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).

This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (# days per week in the office/hoteling).

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
- Manages the Workforce Programs including overseeing contracts, monitoring compliance, overseeing loan repayment disbursements; reviewing and approving applications; tracking/monitoring provider documents; resolving provider complains and issues.
- Provides technical assistance and training to providers, sites and the public about the Workforce Programs; promotes/markets program to increase awareness of and increase referrals to and participation in the Workforce
- Serves as the liaison for the workforce programs; conducts meetings; collaborates with community partners and stakeholders on recruitment and retention activities;
- Maintains/updates the Workforce Programs database and tracking logs (Excel/Google Sheets) and serves as the lead liaison with the IT team for PCO Portal updates and enhancements.
- Prepares reports; writes or assists with grant writing; coordinates the annual sliding fee schedule update and publications.
- Develops standard work and manuals; maintains and updates program websites; develops and revises marketing materials;

Selective Preference(s):
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business or related field and 3 years experience in program planning and administration, or other
closely related work. Master's degree will substitute for 1 years of experience.

Retirement:
To help you build a financially secure future, the State makes monthly contributions to finance your retirement benefit. The State will contribute to the ASRS in an amount equal to your contribution. In other words, you and the State will each pay 50% of the total cost of the benefit. New State employees have a 27-week wait period for contributions to begin.
