- Organize and maintain patient medical records in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all medical records are properly filed and stored securely
- Retrieve medical records for healthcare professionals and patients as requested
- Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations
- Scan and digitize paper records into electronic systems
- Assist with data entry and updating patient information in electronic health record systems
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with medical records or in a medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
