    EVERSANA has partnered with our client to support education regarding the value and evidence of its first in class product. The Field Health Economics Outcomes Liaison (HOL) is a subject matter expert committed to presenting accurate data regarding the approved indication of our clients product.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HOL:

    The (HOL) will communicate and implement value evidence for our client’s product. Lead field based implementation of Health Economics, outcomes and disease management resources and initiatives with customers and accounts to drive adoption recognizing the pharmacoeconomic data and evidence supporting health care outcomes . Accountable for delivering and/or coordinating presentation of all value evidence to support assigned targeted number of accounts. Convey approved proactive and reactive health outcome-based information for our client’s product. Engage with decision-makers, external thought leaders, and relevant C suite decision makers to inform and influence access, order, and reimbursement decisions at the account level.

    • Develop account specific HEOR strategies to ensure effective utilization of HEOR information, and tools. Collaborate with the Account Team to ensure all account team plans incorporate the account-specific HEOR strategy to deliver value messages uniformly across all assigned customer-facing groups and therapeutic areas. Serve as primary point of contact on the account team to deliver clinical, economic, and humanistic value evidence of customer products. Establish strong cross-functional teamwork with Account Team and other headquarter teams to effectively meet customer needs through a coordinated account-based approach and to specifically relay data consistent with the product label in the area of Pharmacoeconomics. As approved by the our client’s Promotional Review Committee. Establish and maintain business relationships with customer stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives (C-suite).
    • Collaborate with other team members as necessary to address customer needs related to population health management.
    • Execute and document customer interactions in the appropriate systems and tools (e.g., Veeva CRM) in accordance with compliance guidelines. Communicate account and project activities and provide status updates routinely to key internal stakeholders.
    • Provide timely clinical, economic, and product updates proactively or in response to unsolicited requests per standard operating procedure (including Dossier) to formulary decision makers or similar entities.
    • Provides insights from external customers to Account and Medical teams to ensure strategies and tactics are robust in filling key evidence gaps from a payor perspective. Establish and maintain research and other collaborations with key external payor decision makers and influencers as needed.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Pharm.D. in relevant discipline or MBA with experience in clinical discipline engagement (e.g. medicine, pharmacy, nursing)
    • Experience in HEOR communication required.
    • A minimum of five (5) years of pharma experience with experience in Pharmacoeconomics, managed markets, Health Economics, Outcomes Research and population health management with at least 2 years in a customer facing role strongly desired
    • Demonstrated ability to articulate pharmacoeconomic discussion with appropriate language and content.
    • Pharmaceutical industry experience required.
    • Knowledgeable about Health Outcomes Research methods (experimental and observational study designs, and modeling methods).
    • Deep understanding of US healthcare industry trends, and in-depth knowledge of the US healthcare delivery system, including payors and organized providers and ability to apply this understanding in support of field-based activities.
    • Knowledgeable regarding role of value evidence as used by payor decision makers to inform adoption and diffusion decisions.
    • Ability to translate data driven evidence into decisions, discussions, actions that align to customer needs.
    • Knowledge of current trends in data science in healthcare (preferred).
    • Senior level influence and credibility - ability to engage senior executives both in customer company and in external organizations.
    • Strong business acumen with proven ability to apply health outcomes programs or research findings to impact market access decisions.
    • Ability to effectively communicate clinical, economic concepts and evidence-based concepts.
    • Closely collaborate with field based and internal colleagues regarding PE model development, implementation and refinement and development of reports for client use.
    • Ability to master clinical and health economic evidence and able to effectively communicate complex material to a wide variety of audiences.
    • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with commercial, medical and internal colleagues to develop robust account plans
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities. Flexible, collaborative work style, adaptable to evolving strategy of our client to address needs of target accounts.
    • Ability to discuss healthcare delivery processes and inter-relationships between different customer-types in the healthcare marketplace.
    • Thorough understanding of Guidance on Payor Communication, as well as their implications for the development and dissemination of healthcare economic information to the payer.
    • Ability to thrive and grow in independent commercially focused role, with vision to create a successful ,compliant strategic plan.
    • Ability to operate in a complex, ever-changing environment.
    • Working within an account team with specific duties to HEOR, RWE and managed markets models.
    • Knowledge of industry best practices related to value and evidence based activities.
    • Functional in all Microsoft Office platform components.
    • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
    • A basic understanding of hospital EMRs flow of work
    • Meeting or exceeding the demands of this role via virtual meeting technology platforms (e.g., Zoom, GoToMeeting, WebEx, MS Teams, etc.), as needed or appropriate.
    • Embraces cross-functional collaboration with all internal and external customers.
    • Working knowledge of PhRMA guidelines and OIG guidelines.

    EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $195,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
