About the position:
Help coaching clients to achieve their health and wellness goals through lifestyle changes.
Teach a community-based prevention program for a group of participants.
Creates a motivating environment, that encourages group participation through executed lesson plans.
Ability to execute lesson plans on topics of health lifestyle habits, exercise, nutrition, self-care and mental wellbeing.
Follow a developed lifestyle curriculum for participants based on their specific needs and objectives.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as personal trainers, behavioral health specialists, and dietitians, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements:
If you are passionate about helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle and have a strong background health wellness, personal training, nutrition, behavioral health, nutrition, or weight loss, we would love to hear from you.
Health care experience and or health and wellness experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate clients.
Ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.
Strong organizational skills to keep track of client progress and maintain accurate records.
Empathetic and compassionate approach to coaching individuals in their health journey
Ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.
Commute: Being able to reliably commute to weekly classes in NW Washington DC.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
