Health Coach

We are seeking a full-time Health Coachto deliver Health Coaching services for eligible members of large self-insured commercial and municipal clients.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will deliver Health Coaching services to eligible program participants who are enrolled in an innovative Obesity Treatment and Weight Loss Maintenance Program according to evidence-based guidelines designed to help members lose weight and keep it off over the long term. This candidate will report directly to the Program Coordinator/Health Coach Manager and work closely with clinical and administrative team members in delivery of services to members of employer clients.

Interaction with both members and client leadership are important aspects of this position. The Health Coach should possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be able to successfully work with internal/external stakeholders to advance the program and services with clients. As such, the position requires strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, including the ability to set priorities and manage competing demands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed.

• Experience in the delivery of Health Coaching, scheduling and implementation of health and wellness services.
• Minimum of 4-year college degree, or equivalent
• A background in psychology or behavioral science desirable.
• Health Coaching Certification or willingness to obtain one upon being hired.
• Educational background or previous work in nutrition, fitness or a weight loss/management clinic or setting where you gained familiarity of obesity as a diagnosis is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.

Must have a strong command of conferencing software including Microsoft Teams, Zoom etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools is expected. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
