EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations that pertain to ICF and PRTF providers and facilities, and investigate complaints relative to the quality of care, quality of life, and services provided to residents. You will also conduct surveys and incident investigations relative to Medicaid and Medicare requirements. Work is performed through the application of knowledge, established methods, practices, procedures, policies and regulations related to the various professional disciplines in the Health Care field. You will demonstrate critical thinking and display professional judgment in your daily work duties. You will conduct surveys to determine facility compliance; analyze data and write reports; review incident reports and provide follow-up; and prepare deficiency statements when necessary. This position requires irregular work hours. Frequent travel within Delaware, Dauphin, Snyder, Chester, Adams, York, and Lebanon counties is a requirement of this position. In addition travel to other parts of the commonwealth may be required. You will be required to carry a cell phone and respond to complaints during off-hours. Statewide travel, overnight travel and flexible work hours are required in order to accommodate state and federal mandates. The work requires irregular work hours to meet departmental needs. You may be assigned to function independently, with a partner, as a member of a team, or as the designated team coordinator during on site surveys.Interested in learning more? In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
