Form of workHEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH (OPEN TEACHING)HIGH SCHOOL2024-2025 School Year Fairfield High School is looking for a dynamic Head Volleyball Coach to join our team of committed coaches and teachers in the mission to educate and develop student athletes on and off the court. PRIMARY PURPOSEProvide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the coreacademic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual,emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competenciesand skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications: Bachelor's DegreeValid Texas teaching certificate in the assigned subject area (teaching field open)Special Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of basketball coaching techniques and proceduresKnowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rulesAbility to instruct and supervise student athletes at a high levelExcellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsExperience:Three years coaching or participant experience in volleyballJob Description:Lead successful 9-12 boys girls volleygball programProvide student athletes with an opportunity to participate in a successful volleyball programProvide quality instruction and skills development for students/athletesPromote participation in athletic program at all levelsEstablish and maintain a collaborative coaching environmentEstablish and maintain a positive line of communication with all stakeholdersAbout Us:Fairfield High School is a large 3A school with a history of academic and athletic success. The position is 187 days. It offers teacher salary plus generous stipends and extra paid days. The district currently covers the cost of employee health insurance up to $399 / month as well as $25,000 in life insurance.
