Head Teller

```Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teller to join our team at Roanoke Valley Community Credit Union. As a Lead Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily teller operations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily teller operations and ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with account inquiries, resolving issues, and recommending appropriate banking products and services
- Manage cash drawer and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with loan processing and financial sales activities
- Train and mentor teller staff to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor branch security procedures and take appropriate action in case of any suspicious activities
- Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs and achieve branch goals

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Teller or in a similar role within the banking industry
- Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Proficient in math calculations and 10-key typing
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.18 - $21.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
