ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Serve as Head Coach for USL Academy team (Pre Professional U20)
- Plan and execute 4 session per week during the standard season (February-November)
- Present session plan to assistant coach prior to the sessions
- Create a year-round periodization training schedule
- PrepareAttend all Friendly, Tournament, and League games
- Provide formal player feedback to players periodically
- Review game footage and provide match analysis sessions after each game
- Attend Staff meetings
- Provide monthly reports to Club Director
- Refer top performing players to local professional partner clubs
- Actively attend local events to recruit and log a depth chart for prospective players
- Hold monthly team meetings
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
- Fosters teamwork throughout the Organization.
- Promotes HFC Vision, Mission and Philosophies.
- Plans and manages internal communications and awareness of organizational needs, administration and activities.
- Assists with special projects as directed by the Director of Coaching
- Associated duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- US Soccer Federation C License Required ( USSF or UEFA 'B' preferred)
- Min of 3 years of coaching experience with older players (16+)
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong team & player management skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter, confident, professional, and a solutions-based problem-solver.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with and maintain relationships with all levels of Parents, Players, Coaching Staff, Directors, Volunteers, Vendors and Program partners.
- Ability to work independently, cooperatively, and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to initiate, coordinate and organize schedules/tasks through to completion accurately and on time.
- Successfully pass criminal background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Travel locally to practices, games, and tournaments.
