Responsibilities

V2X is seeking a senior leader to oversee its global Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Head of Talent Acquisition will develop recruiting strategies and processes to position V2X to competitively attract and acquire the right talent to meet current and future business needs. The incumbent will serve as a key member of the HR senior leadership team, contributing to the overall people strategy.

With a diverse workforce spanning a wide variety of skillsets, the Talent Acquisition function is a key contributor to business success by identifying talent and facilitating the hiring of approximately 4,000 employees per year worldwide. As V2X continues to grow, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition leader who can further transform the TA function to include implementing a new HCMS/ATS system, developing policies, improving processes, and implementing best-in-class recruiting tools. This is an ideal job for someone excited about the prospect of having the foundational pieces in place and the autonomy to build and transform a global Talent Acquisition strategy, function, and processes for our high-tempo company.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops Vision and Strategy: Partners with various areas of the business to identify needs and define a compelling vision for Talent Acquisition within the company. Sets concrete initiatives and metrics to achieve this vision. Determines and implements the appropriate policies and practices to support.

  • Manages Projects and Processes: Provides guidance and support for developing and implementing cost-effective recruiting strategies. Leads the development of the Talent Acquisition global strategy aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Determines and manages the appropriate tools and resources, both internal and external, to ensure short-term and long-term business objectives are met.

  • Builds Sourcing and Pipeline Strategies: Creates and implements creative sourcing strategies for open requisitions. Builds a continuous talent pipeline through various sourcing tools to include online resources, partnerships with relevant associations, referrals, social media campaigns, and networking. Works with multiple functions to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice. Creates and utilizes market intelligence to inform resourcing.

  • Leads the Team: Leads Talent Acquisition managers, recruiters, and coordinators globally across all recruiting lines of business. Ensures the end-to-end recruiting process is successful in a high-volume, dynamic, and diverse environment. Develops processes, tools, and training to enable HR and hiring managers to define positions, screen candidates and make quality hiring decisions.

  • Develops Candidate Branding Strategies: Builds and enhances the outward facing branding and marketing for candidates. Promotes the company’s reputation as a top employer. Works closely with V2X HR leadership teams (Total Rewards, DEI, L&D, etc.) to develop talent strategies to attract and hire the right internal and external talent.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related preferred.

  • Certifications: HR or TA certifications a plus.

  • Required Experience:

  • A minimum of twelve (12) years' progressive experience in Talent Acquisition.

  • Eight (8) years’ experience in a senior management capacity.

  • Experience leading recruiting in mid- to large-size global defense contracting companies.

  • Experience recruiting for all types and levels of Talent from high volume, entry-level to executive

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects

  • Experience managing and resourcing day-to-day full life cycle recruitment activities including sourcing all the way through onboarding.

  • Experience with employment law, interviewing regulations and state requirements

  • Preferred Experience:

  • Experience leading merger and acquisition and other rapid onboarding activities

  • Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to company sites to build relationships and resolve matters, as necessary.

  • Professionalism: Ability to stay calm under pressure and to be trusted to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.

  • Communication: effective at communicating and presenting verbally and in writing based on the audience, from entry-level to executive.

  • Technology-Savvy: Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite. Adept at assessing, building out and navigating ATS and HCM systems, as well as assessing and deploying other tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Data-Driven: Ability to build reports and metrics and leverages benchmarks to educate, build a narrative, and inform business decisions.
