Job Summary:
THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION. The Head of Production will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of audiovisual, broadcast, streaming and associated event technology solutions are delivered at a high standard and on time. You will be responsible for supporting the SVP of Sales Operations in developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that enhances the production value for high profile, complex global events, differentiates us from industry competition through innovative use of technology, and drives business growth.
Essential Functions:
• Develop and execute best-in-class event technology solutions for international summits, conferences, business meetings, brand activations, festivals, sporting, and special events. Technology solutions include audiovisual, broadcast, streaming, multi-media platform design and connectivity, audio, video, lighting, rigging, electrical, staging, and network services solutions that align with customers' overall vision and goals.
• Partner with executive team to develop, implement, and manage strategic planning as it relates to vendor/ client management, budgets, and policy/procedures for event related functions.
• Lead the production team in the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that enhance the production value of our events.
• Develop and manage event, designs, timelines, and resources for upcoming events.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with event technology vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure that technology solutions are integrated into all aspects of the event production process.
• Identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies that can be used to enhance the event production experience.
• Ensure that all technology solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Ability to lead large scale Live Events with multiple agencies, vendors, and client involvement.
• Provide on-site supervision of events, and lead company execution on event days.
• Ensure vendor contractual obligations and company policies/procedures are maintained.
• Ensure detailed production notes for each event are compiled and disseminated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Technology, Broadcasting, or related field is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in event production technology leadership roles, with proven track record of managing high-profile and complex event production technology projects from inception to completion.
• Successful history of managing operations and delivery teams for High Profile Global Events
• Strong business communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Service Delivery and Billing platforms, and the ability to generate high quality insights into daily operations activity and progress.
• Exceptional team builder, internally and externally
• Production and Staging experience are required.
• Scenic and Décor experience is required.
• Rigging, Electrical, Lighting and Exhibit experience is required.
• Audiovisual, Sound and Broadcast experience is required.
• Temporary Labor and Nationwide Union jurisdictions and rules expertise is required.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herein are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• In-depth knowledge of audiovisual, broadcast, and streaming technology, including equipment and software related to onsite delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing budgets and timelines for event production technology projects.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive event production technology strategy that aligns with customers vision and goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with technology vendors, partners, and employees.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
