In this role, you will be leading the division’s overall integrity efforts and programs, partnering with the various leaders, managers and teams to provide consultation and support in the implementation of the integrity strategy and priorities and key projects and initiatives in Motion NEMA Motors in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You will be ensuring the business has the right focus and efforts in place to ensure integrity is at the forefront of the business and ensure we lead and manage our business in line with our integrity goals, objectives and expectation always in mind and delivering present and future business and function goals.

Division Lead Counsel

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the integrity function for the division, providing strategy, integrity related leadership, direction, support, training and advice to the division, on relevant business, compliance and integrity related opportunities, topics and matters.
  • Anticipate and identify integrity issues of concern to management and proactively develop effective strategies and practical solutions.
  • Support and identify the most efficient ways of accomplishing strategic projects and goals.
  • Execute the division integrity strategy by identifying the need for, implementing or updating division integrity related policies, procedures and programs and contributes to their development.
  • Ensure the implementation of both local and group integrity policies, procedures and programs, monitors on-going performance, compliance and improvement, and ensures successful and accurate reporting of the same.
  • Ensure good corporate governance in the area of accountability at relevant business areas, supports implementation of the Code of Conduct and on going integrity training.
  • May coordinate, assist or lead in investigation and resolution of any integrity issues that arise.
  • Be accountable for any integrity related matters in support of M&A and integration of new businesses and team members into ABB MONM integrity culture.

Your background

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 12 years of experience in a legal, integrity or business role, whereof at least 5 years in an integrity related role.
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Juris Doctor (JD) working in matrix organizations and influencing without direct reporting lines. PMP or PMI Certification. History of successful development and management of projects across business and function areas.
  • Practice in building and collaborating with formal and informal networks at all levels of an organization.
  • Intercultural sensitivity and experienced in cross functional, international collaboration and building strong personal networks.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
