This is an Exempt, Full-Time position based in our Menlo Park, CA office. We are open for this role to be remote, but visits to the office at least once every two weeks are required.This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer of the Company.Aether Biomachines is on a mission to build the post-scarcity future using peptide-based nanotechnology as the driving force for the next industrial revolution. In this strategic position, you will harness your well-established network within government circles to identify and secure funding opportunities that are aligned with our objectives.

Your role will also be instrumental in propelling government business development and facilitating the commercialization of our pioneering technologies. Furthermore, you will significantly contribute to elevating our visibility and advancing Aether's interests in the dynamic landscape of public policy.What you will be doing* Identify and pursue targeted funding opportunities from government sources, grants, and incentives, propelling commercial growth and corporate valuation across technology development stages.* Prepare compelling funding proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the organization's value proposition, goals, and impact to secure funding support.* Lead efforts in driving government-related business development initiatives, including partnerships, collaborations, and contracts that align with the organization's strategic direction.* Maintain, cultivate, and engage relationships with U.S. Government officials, Members of Congress, and Committee staff to enhance the company's visibility in Washington, DC, promoting Aether's interests in the public policy arena.* Stay informed and contribute to the knowledge base of current policy, legislative landscape, and industry trends.

This position is based in our California location.This is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors, including experience, education, skillset, and geographic location. This range is for the SF Bay Area, California location, and may be adjusted to the labor market in other geographic areas.SF Bay Area Pay Range$180,000-$225,000 USD
