Head of Digital Process, Adoption and Portfolio

With this aspiration, we are setting up a dedicated organization focused on end-to-end process digitization, adoption & digital change management, enterprise-wide digital strategy and Portfolio management.

  • Process Automation COE focuses on building an enterprise competency and capability, accountable for pan-HP process maturity and re-engineering efforts, along with driving automation maturity across frontiers. It will further aim to build a holistic E2E process architecture as well as standardized design, playbook, and associated tools, tightly integrated with the digital architecture and other enabling capabilities such as data and enterprise platforms.
  • Digital Adoption will drive holistic enablement of our digital platforms and solutions by creating an enterprise digital change playbook, driving post-implementation Adoption and outcomes, and ensuring that the platform and solutions aligns with user needs and excels in usability, experience, and coverage.
  • Digital Portfolio Management holds accountability for a 360 view of our digital portfolio across HP, aligned with business priorities and outcomes. Holds responsibility for effective resource and budget allocation across portfolio and provides transparency and tracking to the prioritization, progress, delivery outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Digital Strategy ensures HP maintains a coherent and holistic vision, strategy and roadmap to leverage digital capabilities to drive a customer focused and operational excellence transformation. The strategy will ensure that the digital roadmap is connected to building out connected enterprise capabilities, providing more effective customer engagement and journeys, more productive employees and a more efficient operating model.

Central to this is the role of Head of Process, Adoption and Portfolio Management. This role will lead a combined entity across the four domains of process, adoption, portfolio and strategy driving towards a comprehensive outcome across Digital Process and operations:
  • Oversees HP's Process and Automation agenda around end-to-end digitization with best-in-class Digital Process and automation technologies (incl. Process design/modeling and mining, intelligent/robotic process automation, Low-code/No-Code).
  • Enhance and maintain HP's digital strategy and roadmap - structured value chain-based approach to drive digital maturity, clear alignment of our portfolio against our digital ambitions and a holistic tracking of progress and benefits.
  • Implements best practices in driving enterprise change agenda - understanding user needs, practices and tools for awareness and usage, and employing continuous feedback and tracking framework and tools to maximizes Adoption and platform effectiveness.
  • Manages HP's Digital Portfolio- includes standardized intake process across businesses, supply and demand allocation, effective prioritization aligned with business and enterprise goals.
  • Closely partners with Business and Functional owners globally and across the company to drive process and digital impact holistically.
  • Accelerate digitization through the development of a highly scalable core and federated team within D&TO and externally across HP's business and functions.

What you will bring:
  • 15+ years leading global, cross-functional end-to-end digital transformation, process management and other cross-functional enterprise programs.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the high technology industry business models and core processes for hardware, software and services & subscription, manufacturing, marketing, selling, supply chain, renewal, support, and finance.
  • Deep understanding of business operations and financial systems in the context of operational processes in a high-tech global software company selling on-prem and cloud solutions through various route to markets (direct, channel etc.).
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills and experience in managing senior stakeholder (VP level and up) relationship, partnership, and interactions; demonstrated ability to influence at all levels in the organization.
  • Practical experience of process & program management, re-engineering business operations, policies, systems, and processes.
  • Proven success as Transformation leader in advising top management on issues relating to process, change management and digital implementation.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior leadership decision making, leading Steering Committee reviews, and facilitating problem solving.
  • 'Self-starter', 'independent thinker' with the ability to conceptualize, communicate (written and verbal) effectively and solicit alignment and buy-in at multiple levels across the organization.
