Head of Compliance (USA)
Objective
The first in the company, you will create a new worldwide compliance program and be in charge as the Head of Compliance of setting the standard for our governance and compliance program worldwide, and aligning expectations vs reality for our customers, service providers, project coordinators and account managers. This diverse team of professionals are based in different locations internationally. We need an alignment between our Operations, Training, Recruiting, Accounting, IT and Legal departments. The focus will be on creating an Internationally scalable compliance program with well-trained Compliance Specialists.
Duties of Compliance Officer.
Remote management of international based Compliance team
Build, guide and direct the team globally. In charge of recruiting, hiring and firing.
Build out subsets of the compliance division.

Oversight of advertising and recruiting efforts in the US for technicians
Work with and utilize Business Analysts, Operations Managers
Identify trends, and weaknesses in Compliance globally. Provide solutions, direction and guidance to staff and mid management.
Duties of Compliance Specialists who the CO will oversee once program created.
Lead service providers throughout the application process.
Responsible for collecting and negotiating rates.
Train and educate service providers on behaviors, work ethics, and policy and procedures; follow up with all parties involved to ensure compliance.
Collect and store skill sets of applicants.
Collect and document licenses, certificates, and business registration information.
Responsible for the execution of agreements.
Follow up on compensation and benefits of serviceproviders.
Take feedback from project coordinators on weak points picked up, for example, delay, lack of experience, poor quality of work, and poor communication.
Note bad feedback from all operations ends and hold discussions with the service providers.
Handle service providers disputes due to poor craftsmanship or customer service reports.
Requirements
- Experience working abroad periodically is required.
- Proven experience in a compliance officer role is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Solid knowledge of FM Services industry and legal requirements and procedures is preferred.
