Form of workAs the Global Head of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Engineering, you will build a best in class team that accelerates innovation and speed of delivery at scale. You will be an expert, and thought leader in cloud, and engineering, able to design and implement secure, performant, and scalable platform solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business. As part of the IT management team you will work closely with Vista peers to align to an enterprise vision for platform services across Vista's internal business functions, with a focus on delivering leading edge platform capabilities at the enterprise level. As a senior IT leader, you will also be an important contributor to our overall IT strategy, improving our operating model and attracting and developing digital engineering talent across IT.
This is a Remote role and is for an immediate start.
Responsibilities- Partner with a diverse group of senior stakeholders to understand business pain points, develop strategic, executable plans to achieve business needs on time and within budget
- Influence the landscape of existing and emerging technology to provide the optimal customer experience when interacting with platforms that increase engineering efficiency and drive digital product optimization
- Promote diverse, open system and innovative cloud and engineering Platform capabilities, API & integrations, and a cloud SW Engineering Factory Model to drive technical impact and influence across a matrix organization
- Leverage engineering/architecture principles and problem-solving skills to diagnose and remedy systems, platforms, and connectivity across the stack
- Partner with IT security operations to develop and enforce platform engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise security controls
- Manage, impact, and influence, direct & indirect staff (i.e. a matrixed engineer cohort, solutions architecture staff, etc.) with an emphasis on Enterprise Architecture standards, solution deployment architecture and integration patterns for existing and new investments under a people, process and tools engineering operating model
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience at a Financial Firm with regulatory environments, influencing key stakeholders and working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture capabilities (culture, impact and influence) to drive standards.
- Expertise with IT Portfolio Management reporting, driving metrics/outcomes, and service delivery
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Cloud Azure and M365 including roadmaps, support and delivery with a best in class mindset
- Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Must possess personal tact, discretion and good judgment. along with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $200,000-$260,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other reward may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
