- Assumption of all coaching responsibilities related to the sport of soccer.
- Assumption of all administrative responsibilities related to the sport of soccer, including purchase and maintenance of all equipment and coordination of food, lodging and transportation needs.
- Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.
- Development and enforcement of team rules.
- Planning, development and conducting of all in-season and off-season practices and conditioning sessions.
- Instruction and supervision of staff.
- Ensure that proper safety guidelines and standards are maintained.
- Coordinate all strategy related to the sport of soccer.
- Responsible for all aspects of recruitment in accordance with university and NAIA rules.
- Work in conjunction with athletic administration and Financial Aid Services in awarding financial assistance, specifically athletic scholarships.
- Understanding and support of all athletic policies and regulations, as well as all philosophies, of the University, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
- Understanding and support of the NAIA Champions of Character Coaches Code.
- Work in conjunction with athletic administration in scheduling games and practices.
- Represent the athletic department and university in a professional manner at various internal and external functions and in working with internal and external constituencies, including but not limited to the media and general public.
- Oversee all aspects of budget preparation and management.
- Serve on various university committees as assigned.
- Perform other administrative duties within the department as assigned.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years of Soccer Coaching experience.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University.
- Master’s degree.
- Three years of collegiate Soccer Coaching experience.
