The Pour Farm Tavern is growing and we are looking for a passionate Head Line Cook to join our team! We are a craft beer bar with an exclusive draft list and house-smoked barbecue and bar pizzas. Come have fun working with a small team in a fast paced kitchen. The perfect candidate will be motivated with the ability to lead a team or work independently depending on volume. This position will give you experience in every aspect of running your own kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Daily Prep
- Ability to efficiently open/close kitchen independently
- Cook on Grill, Fry, Sauté, Smoker, Pizza
- Ensure great presentation
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
Skills
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience on all kitchen stations
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (sauté, grill, fry, smoker)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Smoking/Barbecue experience will be an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
