Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
A complete application packet must be submitted through the online application system prior to the closing date in order to be considered for this position. ALL of the following requirements must be submitted before the posted deadline:

2. Three (3) References (Included in Application)
3. Copy of current teaching certificate (if applicable)
4. Résumé

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the applicant to insure that all required application documents are submitted prior to the posted deadline. An incomplete application will render the applicant ineligible.

- Valid Secondary South Carolina teaching certification preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- NFHS Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification required, or willingness to obtain
- Teaching responsibilities with the district, strongly preferred

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- The role of the Cheerleading Coach is to teach the cheerleading squad, to promote School spirit and encouragement of athletic teams
- The Cheerleading Coach is someone who can coach our young women and men in a highly competitive sport yet help them keep a balance in all aspects of their lives, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically
- A Cheerleading Coach will promote positive teamwork, positive interactions amongst teammates (and all levels of the program). Modeling sportsmanship and fan involvement at games and pep assemblies are viewed as important aspects of being a cheerleader
- Maintain cheerleading budget
- Supervise and direct the assistant Cheerleading Coach
- Attend all JV football games; home or away
- Assist with competitive cheer
- Responsible for distribution and collection of equipment, supplies and uniforms
- Help with the planning of Homecoming activities
- Conduct mandatory preseason parent meeting
- Performs other duties as assigned
