We are seeking a highly effective Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department at a beautiful lakefront resort in Southern Wisconsin. This Resort has ample amounts of accommodations, dining, and amazing activities for all ages to enjoy. If you are an experienced resort or hotel professional looking to grow your career then look no further, this is the position for you!
Compensation Package: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience) + plus comprehensive health benefits, PTO, sick time, mileage reimbursement, and 401k!
Requirements:
- 2+ years of Executive Housekeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to build and lead a team
- Must possess highly effective communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to effectively present one-on-one in small group situations to customers, clients, and other staff members of the organization
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations of the resort's daily Housekeeping operations
- Train and supervise all current and incoming staff
- Establish a training program to maintain consistent expectations
- Schedule staff according to occupancy requirements
- Maintain high standards in all guestrooms and public areas Communicate on a regular basis with the Director of Resort Operations concerning the state of your department and convey any improvements that could be performed.
