Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Host to join our team. As the Head Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a smooth operation in our high pace, high volume establishment. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership, team work and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor

- Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate bookings

- Coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover

- Provide guests with menus and assist with menu selections

- Oversee the host/host team and provide guidance as needed

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Assist with training new host/host staff members

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively

- Proficiency in using POS systems for reservation management

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
