Head Counselor - Adventure Instructor

We are hiring for Summer Camp Counselors

We are looking for Head Counselors (21 yrs and older) for our Outdoor Youth Programs! Spend your Summer months in the beautiful outdoors teaching campers how to fish, kayak, rock climb, hike and more! Our Outdoor Adventure and Young Adventurers camp are the perfect fit for kids looking to learn new skills each day. Our main goal is to help campers build a positive relationship with the outdoors.

Applicants must work well in groups as well as be responsible, adaptive, and outgoing. Flexible hours, competitive pay, and a fun work environment! The job duties include leading instructional activities, keeping campers safe in the outdoors, communicating with peers and camp parents, and helping to create a fun week!

Preferred work experience: Experience that complements being a camp counselor such as: Camp Counselor, School Teacher, Outdoor Educator, Bike Instructor, Raft Guide, etc.

Helpful experience, but not required: Knowledge of fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing kayaking, canoeing, hiking, experience working or interacting with youth

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (doing activities outside in the Summer)
• First aid- and CPR-certified preferred for Head Counselors (if you don't have it, we will organize a CPR class)

Pay: $550.00 per week (Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications)
