Farmingdale State College invites applications for a Head Coach for Men's and Women's Cross Countryand Track & Field position. This position involves managing all aspects of the Men's and Women's Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field teams, including recruitment and retention of student-athletes, practice and game preparation, budget administration and supervision of assistant coaches. The candidate will prepare a competitive schedule for all six teams and be expected to adhere to all Skyline, NJAC and NCAA Division III rules and regulations. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics. This position will work closely with coaches, student-athletes and administrators. This is a 10-month position.
This title is in Appendix B of the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees and, as a consequence, incumbents serving in this title are not eligible for permanent appointment (tenure), but instead receive renewable term appointments.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sport Management or related field.
- Five years of Head Coaching experience at the College level in Cross Country, indoor and outdoor Track & Field.
- Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
- Experience with recruiting.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time 10-month UUP position.
- For the first 10 working days, beginning Thursday, December 14, 2023, and ending Thursday, December 28, 2023, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.

- SALARY: $52,000 + $3,087 in downstate location pay = $55,087 Total Compensation. Salary may increase commensurate with experience.
