DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend ALL activities and events that the cheerleading squad attends.
- Arrange transportation and lodging when applicable and arrange payment of services.
- Organize a parent meeting prior to try-outs and assist with try-out procedures.
- Order required uniforms (performance and summer camp) and arrange for payment.
- Schedule, arrange, and attend summer camp with cheerleading squad.
- Arrange for payment of any required fees to participate in regional, state, or national competitions.
- Schedule and supervise all practices/activities (cheerleading practices, making locker decorations, signs, etc.).
- Arrange and conduct any fundraising functions; keep an account of the activity funds, collect, receipt, and deposit money.
- Plan and approve routines and activities for pep rallies, assemblies, and game performances.
- Arrange for outside coaching (if desired) and arrange for payment of choreographer.
- Make a phone roster and calling tree for squad members and set up an emergency plan in case of injury during a practice.
- Work closely with activities director in planning and scheduling events.
- Conduct the cheerleading class by having expectations, grading, and testing procedures in place at the beginning of the school year.
- Any duties that may be deemed necessary by principal.
