RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
1. Learn and adhere to all policies and procedures.
2. Coach and develop players with a philosophy that aligns with HLC’s mission and values.
3. Communicate regularly with team families concerning logistics and all team activities.
4. Be consistently engaged with HLC directors and staff to address concerns quickly, with a positive attitude.
5. Travel to various local practice gyms and tournaments as assigned

Duties:
- Develop and implement basketball training programs for players of various skill levels
- Teach fundamental basketball skills, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense
- Plan and conduct practice sessions to improve players' individual and team skills
- Provide guidance and support to players during games and competitions
- Evaluate players' performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Create a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork
- Manage behavior and enforce discipline among players according to team rules
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Basketball Coaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and staff members
- Ability to create a positive and motivating environment for players
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Ability to climb stairs or stand for extended periods during practice sessions or games

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
