Team members are responsible for baking and preparing our in-house made sourdough breads, seasonal bakery offerings, and market provisions daily and will also be able to cross train to expand their growth potential. Our bakers rise to the occasion!

The Head Baker will lead our cutting-edge bakery team and be responsible for the production, quality and efficiency in our bakery operations with an eye toward the future growth of our increasingly popular offerings of nourishing sourdough and seeded breads, baked goods and market provisions, all deliciously gluten free. We're clearly raising the bar in the area of good gluten free! The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can multitask and quickly problem solve in order to ensure quality and consistency, with clear dedication to elevating the guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Know how to use various types of ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Set a positive tone and strong work ethic, leading by example.
• Maintain standardized recipes and batch sizes.
• Develop and maintain a weekly production schedule and assign daily tasks
• Emphasis on attention to detail. Guest-centric focus.
• Understand the importance of the culinary phrase: sense of urgency
• Enthusiastic and maintain a motivated, positive attitude.
• Keep a balance in maintaining quality while innovating for new offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a baker
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to troubleshoot in the moment

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $24.00 - $28.00/hour.
