Luck Stone's Pittsboro, NC quarry is looking to hire a Haul Truck Operator for our 2nd Shift team (1:30pm - 10pm) This position will operate mobile equipment, Haul Truck primarily and other equipment as needed to move material from the Pit area to the Plant area.
Duties include:
- Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle
- Identifying and reporting rode, high wall and equipment issues
- Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and/or dumping techniques
- Willingness to assist with maintenance/project activities other than heavy equipment operation around the site when needed
Prior experience in a quarry or large construction site is a plus. Compensation starts at $20 per hour plus differential.
