Hatchery Lead

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Hatchery Lead. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a hatchery environment, with a strong understanding of hatchery operations and Embrex technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hatchery operations, including egg setting, incubation, hatching, and chick processing.
• Coordinate and supervise hatchery staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Monitor equipment and machinery to maintain optimal hatchery conditions.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
• Maintain accurate records of hatchery activities, including hatch rates, chick quality, and inventory levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the hatchery process.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving hatchery performance and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a hatchery environment.
• Familiarity with Embrex technologies and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of biosecurity protocols and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
