Mohave Farms is currently expanding its team and is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Harvest Technicians. We are in search of qualified applicants who exhibit a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative team player mentality. While cultivation and agriculture experience are preferred, they are not mandatory.

Job Title:Harvest Technician
Position: Hourly
Location: Kingman, AZ
Salary: $15/hour, Depending on experience
Reports to: Post Harvest Supervisors
Hours: 40+ hours per week, Overtime available. Multiple shifts are available.

As a Harvest Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring a seamless harvest and post-harvest process. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire cycle, from harvesting to hanging, drying, trimming, curing, storing, and packaging the final product.

Success in this role requires individuals who can efficiently follow directions, work quickly, and handle the physical demands of the job, including extended periods of walking, standing, stooping, bending, and/or crouching. Clear communication, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to exceeding expectations, are crucial attributes.

Expanded Job Description (Personnel Duties & Responsibilities):

· Primary responsibility: Ensure proper care of plants post-harvest, including harvesting, hanging, trimming, and packaging with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency.

· Specific post-harvest duties may involve hanging plants, bucking down plants, hand trimming flower, sorting flower, operating trim machines, weighing and packaging flower, and maintaining daily, systematic cleaning of all post-harvest work areas.

· Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of the grow facility and machinery, adhering to strict compliance guidelines.

· Secondary responsibilities as assigned by supervisors and management, potentially including general facility cleaning and additional harvesting and post-harvest duties.

· Adherence to all operational guidelines, verbal and written directives, training information, and policies during duty performance.

· Accomplishment of all tasks appropriately assigned or requested.

· Comfort working in varying temperatures and humidity levels, with a focus on maintaining hydration levels.

In addition to the general and expanded job descriptions, additional duties may be assigned based on facility needs and workload.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum age of 21, possession of a valid Arizona Driver's License or state ID card, and authorization to work in the U.S.

· Additional availability for holidays and overtime is advantageous.

· Ability to endure sitting or standing during repetitive motions for extended periods, work at a fast pace with sustained energy, and engage in physical labor in both warehouse and greenhouse settings.

· Successful completion of a state-mandated (AZDHS) background check, including fingerprinting.

I also realize that these criteria will be used to assess my suitability for employment, promotions, and raises. All staff are considered at-will employees. New hires will have a thirty-day ‘trial’ period whereby performance will be evaluated during and after the first thirty days of employment.
