Job Description - This position grasps the live bird with both hands at the base of the thigh, making sure the bird head is turned away from the shackle, then place both feet of the bird onto the shackle. The motion is repeated for the entire shift. the birds weighs 4-5lbs. Team members are required to hand 25 birds per minute. Work Enviornment: This position is required to stand by the conveyor for the entire shift at temperatures ranging with the temperature outside. Safety Equipment: Googles, cotton gloves, rubber gloves, cotton sleeves, smock, boots, hair nets, ear plugs and beard net.
Applicant must be regular full-time team member with minimum of three (3) months seniority. Applicants must not have received any written warnings for disciplinary reasons within three (3) months before the job bid. Applicant must not have received any warnings with suspension within six (6) months before the job bid. Applicant must have a satisfactory attendance record with no more than six (6) points. Team member may not bid for another position within six (6) months of last successful job bid unless it is a promotion.
