Hardware Sales Associate

KIMPS ACE HARDWARE IS SEEKING A PART TIME OR FULL TIME HARDWARE SALES ASSOCIATE TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS

Essential Functions:

• GREET ALL CUSTOMERS IN A FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER
• ASSIST CUSTOMERS WITH PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND FASTNER QUESTIONS (TRAINING AVAILABLE)
• ENSURE CUSTOMERS HAVE ALL SUPPLIES NEEDED TO COMPLETE PROJECT
• COMPLETE DAILY MAINTENANCE ON KEY MACHINES
• RESTOCK AREA WITH ALL SUPPLIES
• ASSIST WITH MILWAUKEE TOOL SALES
• ASSIST AND SUPPORT OTHER AREAS OF THE STORE TO PROMOTE GREAT TEAMWORK
• UPDATE PRICING STICKERS AS NEEDED
• ASSIST WITH PUTTING AWAY PRODUCT ORDERS
• DUPLICATE CUSTOMER HOUSE AND AUTOMOTIVE KEYS

Job Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to work on a weekend rotation
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds frequently
• Must possess the ability to stay on task & complete work in a timely manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to follow company policies
• Previous experience in customer service (preferred)
• The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team member
• Strong phone communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to stand for 6 hours at time
